You do not need to register with us in order to access our website.
This website may be used for your own private purposes and in accordance with our terms of use.
You may print and download any non-restricted material from this website; however, you must not modify or reproduce any content without prior written consent from us.
You must not use our website in any way that is deemed by law to be illegal. We reserve the right to terminate and permanently withdraw our service to you should we discover that your intentions for visiting our website and shop are of malicious or fraudulent nature, and we reserve the right to report you to relevant authorities for suspected attempted fraud.

All reasonable measures are taken by us to ensure that this website is operational at all times. However, occasionally technical issues may result in downtime and in these instances, we will not be liable if this website is unavailable or not accessible.

Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We will always endeavour to ensure our stock numbers on the website are updated, however in the instance a product you ordered has unexpectedly become out-of-stock, we will contact you to inform you of the delays, expected arrival time if we are aware of it, and also offer you the option to await delivery or cancel your order.
We will take all reasonable care within our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, however in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data provided by you when accessing or ordering from our website.
Terms of Payment
All transactions will be carried out in Pound Sterling via PayPal.
It is your responsibility to ensure the billing information provided when you are placing your order are correct and accurate. We reserve the right to cancel any orders without prior notification to you should the information provided be incorrect.
Payment must be made in full and cleared before we will ship your order. Should we receive any request by your bank or relevant financial institution to return payment made, we will contact you to make alternative arrangements should you still wish to proceed with your order. However, if payment has been withheld or withdrawn by your bank or relevant financial institution, we reserve the right to cancel your order without prior consent from you.
If a payment reversal is made by your bank or relevant financial institution after we have shipped your order, we will contact you to for payment again. If you do not with to proceed with the order, you must notify us by email to shop@gingerandcacao.uk and return the order as received (unopened parcel) to us within 7 working days, at your own cost. Failure to do so means you will still be invoiced for the order and failure to pay the invoice in full will result in the debt being transferred to debt collectors.
Delivery
Your order will be shipped either by way of ‘Royal Mail First Class Signed For’ or ‘DPD Next Day’, both of which will require signature by you or a recipient authorised by you. By placing your order on our website, you agree to assume full responsibility for providing the correct shipping address and for ensuring the acceptance of the delivery upon delivery, as well as for making alternative arrangements for redelivery or collection should you miss the delivery.
We accept no liability where you provide an incorrect delivery address or where you fail to be present to receive your parcel at the time it is delivered and/or redelivered, or if you fail to collect the parcel from the delivery address which you specified.
We take every reasonable step to ship orders within the estimated time scales, however delays in deliveries may occasionally occur due to factors beyond our control or events unforeseen by us. These include but are not limited to any delays caused by third parties, act of God, strike or terrorist activity, weather or traffic related incidents and/or breakdown in supply chains due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We will therefore not accept any liability for delayed deliveries or non-deliveries and we will not accept any liability for expenses and damages caused directly or indirectly by delayed deliveries or non-deliveries.
Returns and Refunds
We check all items for manufacturing damages before shipping the products and any products with visible damage or damages which will render them unusable will not be shipped. In fact, any such damaged items will be accounted for and withdrawn from our stock on the website.
We will not offer returns or refunds for products with damages or loss sustained during shipping or while the products are in your care.
If you are not happy with your order, you must write to us by email to shop@gingerandcacao.uk within 48 hours, clearly providing reasons for why you wish to return any items ordered from us. Any products to be returned must be unopened and in its original packaging, at your own cost of shipping, within 14 days from the date of your email. We will not entertain requests for returns and refunds via any other method of contact with us. Upon receipt of the returned products, we will inspect each item thoroughly to ascertain the status of your request for returns and refunds. Products must be in fully resalable condition in order for us to issue to you a full refund of the cost you paid for the product.
We take all reasonable steps to provide information that is up to date and accurate on this website; this includes but is not limited to images and descriptions of our products where we always endeavour to portray them as true and accurately as possible. However, this is not always possible and may result in slight differences between the images on our website and the products you received due to manufacturer production processes, studio photography lighting and/or screen colour settings amongst others reasons.
However, we undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in our website or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied on our website or on any related website, should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or updated.
Occasionally there may be information on our website that may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability.
